人気クラス「英語で科学を楽しもう」2025年度後期がスタートしました！
講師が選んだテーマについて、用語集やテキスト、動画を使って分かりやすく解説を聞き、ディスカッションするクラスです。

科学は、私たちの生活や社会に密接に関わるものです。これまでのテーマは「気候変動」や「脳科学」、「人工知能」など多岐に渡り、授業はオールイングリッシュで行います。
このクラスは、英検準1級レベル以上の英語力を持ち、科学に興味がある方にオススメです。教養を深めたい大人から、英検や大学受験（英語）対策を考えている学生の方まで、幅広い世代の方に受講いただいています。また、短期講座のため入学金不要、１回からご参加可能です。

🔹 Humans and the Environment: Building a Circular Future

In this thought-provoking lesson, we will explore how human activity has shaped and impacted the environment. From pollution and invasive species to habitat loss and climate change, we’ll examine the challenges our planet faces today. Students will learn about the connections between human behavior, industry, and the natural world. Finally, we will explore a modern solution that combines economy and ecology — the Circular Economy — a system designed to reduce waste and protect resources. Join us as we discover how science and innovation can lead us toward a more sustainable future.

人間と環境：循環型未来の構築

人間の活動が環境にどのような影響を与えているかを考え、汚染や外来種、生息地の減少、気候変動など、地球が直面するさまざまな課題について学びます。人と自然のつながりを理解し、資源を無駄にしない「循環型経済」という新しい考え方も紹介します。

Travel through time and uncover the incredible history of our planet. In this lesson, we will explore the major eras of Earth’s timeline, from its fiery beginnings to the rise of life and the age of the dinosaurs. You’ll learn how continents formed, climates changed, and species evolved over billions of years. Through visuals and discussions, we’ll trace the remarkable story of Earth’s transformation. Join us as we journey through the ancient past to better understand the planet we live on today.

地球の歴史：誕生から生命の出現まで

時をさかのぼり、地球の驚くべき歴史をたどります。このレッスンでは、地球が誕生したばかりの灼熱の時代から、生命が誕生し恐竜の時代に至るまでを学びます。大陸の形成、気候の変化、生物の進化など、数十億年にわたる地球の変化の過程を、図解や話し合いを通じて理解していきます。古代の地球を旅することで、私たちが今住んでいるこの惑星について、より深く知ることができるでしょう。

🔹 The Big Bang: The Beginning of Everything

How did the universe begin? In this fascinating lesson, we will explore the Big Bang — the event that started it all. Students will learn how space, time, and matter came into existence, and how gravity shaped stars, galaxies, and planets. We’ll discuss the formation of our solar system and trace the universe’s evolution up to the present day. Together, we’ll travel back to the beginning of time and return with a deeper understanding of where we came from and what the universe might become.

ビッグバン：すべての始まり

宇宙はどうやって始まったのでしょうか？このレッスンでは、「ビッグバン」と呼ばれる宇宙の始まりについて探っていきます。空間、時間、物質がどのように誕生したのか、そして重力がどのように星や銀河、惑星を形づくったのかを学びます。また、私たちの太陽系がどのようにできたのかも取り上げ、宇宙の始まりから現在までの進化の過程をたどります。時間の始まりまでさかのぼる旅に出て、私たちのルーツと、これからの宇宙の可能性について考えていきましょう。
